National Bison Range, Montana

Last May long weekend I had visited the National Bison Range for the first time and was amazed by the variety of wildlife. I took another trip down this long weekend and was not disappointed. There are loads of animals to see: bison, deer, pronghorn, eagles…and also amazing scenery. The drive around the range is a gravel road and heads up hill before coming back down via switchbacks

Aurora – Mother’s Day 2016

A couple photos from the huge Aurora borealis display Mother’s Day (May 7th-8th). Got an alert late saturday night and took off to Lake Minnewanka to view. The roadway was packed with people but the show did not dissapoint. One of the strongest auroras I’ve seen and it went on for hours. Continue reading
