Antelope Canyon, Arizona

After Zion National Park, we headed towards Page, Arizona to see Antelope Canyon, located on Navajo lands.

To access Antelope Canyon you must go with a tour company, we went with Antelope Slot Canyon Tours. The tour started off with a hoop dance before getting into the back of some pick-up trucks. Even though it was low season the canyon was still super busy, with several different truckloads of people arriving at the same time. Summertime (when the sun is more overhead) is when you get the light beam photos. The light in the winter months is different but the canyon is still beautiful. Our guide was great, he helped people find angles for shooting (like the dragon eye above) and played a traditional flute for us once we emerged from the canyon
