Portland, Oregon

We took a different (longer route) home from Vancouver and stopped off in Portland for a day. I had previously only driven through on my way to the coast a few years back, and am definitely hoping to be back soon.

The day started out at Alberta Street – a cool street with loads of eateries and bars. A lot of the buildings had cool art/murals on the side.

Next stop was downtown for some Voodoo Doughnuts. The line looked long, but we were through fairly quick. Well worth it for all the different flavours.

We then took a walk around downtown, checking out some of the food cart pods, coffee shops, and Pine Street Market

Last stop was Chinatown. It was a bit more run down but had some cool buildings and signage.
